I can't be the only one here who thinks it's unfair to allow kittypets on this site. Posting pictures of themselves and their mates inside of the twolegplace, influencing the young kits on this site to abandon their Clans... surely everyone else sees the problem with this as well.

This is Clanblr, not "Kittypetblr". This was specifically made as a space for Clan cats to connect, not for kittypets to push their lifestyle on us.

The recent drama surrounding Kipper the Kittypet is sad and I hate that he's being bashed just for existing, but it's also incredibly stupid. I believe the cat who wrote the original post said something like, "it's CLANblr, not KITTYPETblr," and then something about belief in StarClan and I just... do you even realize how many Clanblr mods are non-Clan and/or don't believe in StarClan?

To name a few, @s-t-a-r-burning is former WindClan now rogue & openly an atheist, @theshadowhaseyes has been a kittypet his whole life, and @ssuunnrraayy-p has made zir entire blog about how ze travels from one Clan to another & doesnt consider zimself a Clan cat. Decided to make two types of coats - when researching I stumbled upon lemurs with gray back and brownish back. So I included both. Tail colouring might appear upside down with some coats. This makes no problem with the lemur coats. I decided not to mess with it too much as it was made to use with this textures. (Problem I'm talking about might occur with coats like german shepherd for example - tail should be dark on top, light on bottom, but with this tail it will be reversed.)

Coats works for male and female, infant to elder. You need CAS Unlocks mod to use these on children.

＊ Jonathan is obviously a criminal, so nothing is stopping him from stealing. this includes him stealing things from inbound patients at Arkham Asylum. He often finds things that remind him of you and will give them to you. You know where they come from, obviously, because you know who Jonathan is, but you find it endearing and romantic that he thinks of you.

＊ You and Jonathan live on the outskirts of the city, where there’s plenty of woodland to explore. Jonathan enjoys it because it gives him peace from work and being a villain, you enjoy it because there are oodles of animal bones and plants to scavenge. 

＊ Keeping that in mind, you often use the plants or bones or even still-fresh remains you find for your spells/ rituals/ altars/ taxidermy/ crafts. Sometimes, Jonathan will also find things when he’s out exploring or getting away from things. Every now and then, he’ll try different plants for new toxins, so he’s out scouring the woods. He’s always thinking of you, of course, so whenever Jonathan comes across a cool-looking plant or the skull of an animal, he snatches it up immediately.

＊ He admires your belief system. Whether it’s Witchcraft, Hellenism, etc., he appreciates the art and dedication you put into it. Jonathan sees it as equivalent to science in a way- creating spells and mixtures and getting something new from it. Sometimes, he asks for your help with his experiments simply because of your knowledge of apothecaries and spells.

＊  Black is your color. Jonathan knows this and doesn’t mind that you’re clad in all black whenever he has to make an appearance in Gotham. You get plenty of stares, sure, but he doesn’t care about that. Jonathan doesn’t really care about anything except his experiments and you.

＊ Jonathan finds your body mods (tattoos, piercings, etc.) intriguing. When you first met, he had a ton of questions about them. Did they hurt? What do they mean? He loves the different jewelry you wear as well. 

＊ Your obsession with horror is one of Jonathan’s favorite things about you. He finds it adorable that you can quote numerous horror movies and even recite lines as they’re being said. When Halloween comes around, it’s always a treat (non pun intended.) You love cosplaying various horror characters from movies, shows, and video games. Jonathan adores it and sometimes plays along.

＊ Speaking of Halloween, one year, he dressed as a priest, and you dressed as an undead nun. This year, you’re becoming a crow, and he’s dressing as you guessed it- a scarecrow. You’re already planning next year’s costumes.

＊ You’ll drag Jonathan to concerts and cons all the time. At first, he was hesitant to go to them, but the more you’ve taken him, the more he’s grown interested. Your favorite bands are now his favorite bands. He’s found himself humming the heaviest of songs you introduced him to. You used to beg him to dress for the cons, but now you don’t have to. Jonathan already has ideas for the next con, even.

＊ You and Jonathan surprisingly have a lot in common. You had rough childhoods, you have a genuine disdain for other people most of the time, cats are interesting to both of you, and you have some mental illness as well, and so does he, obviously. You also have a mutual hatred for Batman. You think he’s overrated, and Jonathan, well, why he hates him is obvious, too.

＊ Did someone say fishnets? Jonathan has bought you so many pairs of those and knee socks because he’ll literally rip them off you. He gets you a bunch of fishnets in different colors to match the lingerie sets he buys you. Jonathan thinks you look the hottest in red.

＊ Jonathan’s favorite intimate thing to do is dye your roots or paint your nails. At first, he hated doing your hair, but now he does it without a problem, plus he’ll even touch up your layers. He’s delicate when painting your nails, holding your hands softly but firmly. Jonathan is very intricate in nature, so he does them flawlessly every time.

So, I'm running this account as a Nico di Angelo rp/slice of life account (If you want to do a rp, submit a question in the "Ask Me Anything" blue button at the top of the blog). For people who don't know, Nico di Angelo is a book character from the Percy Jackson book series (who had his own book (The Sun and The Star)) and is my favorite character in the whole series (Leo and Will fighting for second, and Mrs. O'leary, Tyson, and Ella having a place in my heart for First and a half place, then Hazel, then Percy and Annabeth in fourth place). But anyways, I like writing and poetry with occasional side of photography, I also LOVE art (and fanart) and am writing my own story about my own characters inspired by the Percy Jackson series and Steven Universe show. I gave a rough draft of the first few chapters of it to my friends in middle school and they absolutely loved it, so I might upload occasional anecdotes of rough drafts I have. That or the occasional character analysis of my characters.

I don't remember giving DoL+ Alli red bangs but I guess she has red bangs!!

Alli the Darling is a emo energy vampire who gets her energy from being loved (hence the epithet, "The Darling). She acts cutesy and dumb so that others feel a need to protect her. She's just so smol... she could never defend herself!!

Although shes technically dating all the love interests, the only ones she actually loves back are Great Hawk (harpy edition) and Kylar. Evreyone else is just a little snack for her.

Alli spends most of her time with her birb husband in the castle, only really going into town when she needs to feed. And while she's there, she always visits her lovely Kylar and makes some bank at the spa.

Alli is best at skulduggery, tending, housekeeping, and seduction. And when I say best... I mean those are her only skills. Maybe she really is a weak little thing that needs protected....

Nocturne works at Briar's Brothel but lives in the woods... with her wolves.... Which aren't the Black Wolf's pack, actually! Despite her career choice being a bit counterproductive to her cause, she spends her money on wildlife fundraisers and charities to support victims of molestation and sexual assault. But...her deviancy often overshadows the good she tries to do for the town.

Nocturne actually has somewhat of a repulsion towards humans. The idea of carrying human children or being romantically involved with a human sickens her. Humans sicken her. Which is why she loves animals. And being breed by them. She has dozens of pups and parasites that she adores dearly.

And lastly, Grace!

I was too lazy to make an outfit for her so I just had her wear her school uniform even though she's really too old for school....

Grace The Innocent is a tomboyish crossdresser who works on Alex's farm. She loves hard labour and working hard and all that jazz. She's a bit on the dull side, leaning into the "stupid country hick" stereotype, but she has a big BIG heart.

Grace has a twin sister, the last character you just read about! Unless you skipped her... Anyways - Grace tries to distance herself from Nocturne as much as she can (which her sister does respect! Good job Nocturne!). It's not that she doesn't like her sister... okay maybe she doesn't like her sister... but the vulgarity and deviancy of her lifestyle is too much for innocent little Grace.

Grace lives purely and with chastity, retaining her virginity for all 31 years her and her sister have lived in dolville. I know, I know, she doesn't look anywhere near that old, but my options are pretty limited in a game where you play as a school kid. As I mentioned before, she works as a helper on Alex's farm, usually only sticking to the tasks that don't involve animals. She's deathly afraid of them, thinking she'll become a deviant like her sister if she gets too close. Even with her cautiousness, she still prays at the church everyday for salvation. She's very faithful. Almost so that I was going to call her "Grace the Faithful" before remembering that's Sydney's epithet.

Grace has a little cabin by the road to the farmlands where she's usually left unbothered. She enjoys her peace and quiet, and the ignorance of never knowing what's truly going on in the town. Though, she gets a little curious... wondering what her twin sister's been up to. Little does she know that Nocturne works as hard as she can to make the town a place where Grace feels safe. Even if her efforts are mostly in vain, she still tries.

okay, starting with the canon boys: Jacob i've made a son of Venus and i've decided is best friends with Terrel and Bobby. He's a shy and quiet kind of guy but he's doing his best. Also insert my hc about 5th cohort being more likely to be direct descendants versus legacies here (cause something something lack of letters of recommendation). Also because of a mistranslation about his job title my group chat has decided his demigod weapon is a gun. Julius i made a legacy of Indiges (deified Aeneas) based on his name. I haven't decided too much for him other than I think it would be interesting if Jason used to have a crush on him at some point.

VES okay Ves is fun. So first things first: scene kid my beloved. Scene kid with a bee theme. The joke is the hair stripes. His lore is that he's a legacy of Mellona (goddess of honey/bees) and he has a big ol' crush on Gerard, because Gerard is emo and they have similar music tastes.

Gerard i am going to be completely honest is 100% themed on MCR. I like listening to music when I design characters and I thought it'd be funny also i realized the name Gerard works thematically for a Mars kid. It all came together. Anyways he's emo, he's an MCR fan, no he does not know Ves has a big ol' crush on him. Ves is dying, squirtle.

Edgar is a son of Lua, a goddess to whom weapon spoils of war were sacrificed to. He's just kind of a cool edgy guy. Not pictured is his bestie, a girl named Felicity Pace, who is a legacy of Abundantia and Pax, and is also in 4th cohort. They're opposites-attract thematically (war vs peace, low energy vs high energy) but also they're both fashionistas and extremely dramatic.

Anton is my extremely self-indulgent pointing at Mars and how to the Romans he was also a god of civilization and ideal Roman life, which included him being an agricultural god, so legacy of Mars and child of Ceres. He's grumpy but he's very passionate about plants.

They're all mostly just meant to be background characters fleshing out Camp Jupiter for Deadangelos so they don't have a ton of meat to them, but I like to try and give them all at least something. At the very least a hobby, theme, interest, or relationships. Something along those lines.

My 2024 Trend Predictions

Disclaimer! Trends are bullshit!!! What’s “in” and “out” is totally subjective and fashion is an art form, public opinion and new crazes have no impact on the real art and following trends is your choice. Trend cycles are sped up so violently by capitalism and fast fashion as a beast, fashion is supposed to be fun.

This list is my opinions as a 19 year old boy who spends too much time online and read too much vogue as a kid. I am not an expert, I just like to talk.

Indie Sleaze

I’m already seeing this one happening, the colored tights under shorts, the fur vests, I think especially with the popularity of saltburn and it’s aesthetics we’ll see a lot more of this in the beginning of this new year. Graphic t-shirts with ironic phrases were already big in 2023, glitter and silver makeup especially is on the rise, this is already happening and I am excited. I fucking love indie sleaze. Nostalgia is a huge impact on trend cycles, I think we’ll see a lot of 2000 and 2010s trends seeing as the generations looking up to teens following those trends in their childhoods and longing to live those lifestyles are now old enough to embrace that dream. I think for people more into alternative fashion this will translate into a emo and scene resurgence that I’ve already been seeing.

Twee

This is based off the nostalgia again, I think a lot of folks who gravitate more towards cottage core-esque fashions and aesthetics are going to start embracing twee. 2024 is going to be a year of embracing cringe and quirky “individualism”, it is the year of the manic pixie dream girl, is is the year of pissing off boring men with “annoying” femininity. I think cutesy patterns, lace, buttons, diy big jewelry and hair accessories are gonna be on the rise. I can see girls making videos about their craft nights on tiktok already. Skater skirts, Peter Pan collars, bangs, Jess from new girl eat your heart out.

“Humble” Classy/reverse flexing

People are getting tired of the insistence on being “classy”, I think in 2024 we’re going to see a lot of celebrities trying to seem humble and average and down to earth. I think we’ll see a lot of brand mixing, super expensive designer paired with cheap every day brands, I think we’ll see this in clothes and especially in food. I think we’ll see a lot of branding for fast food popping up alongside that “classy” aesthetic. I think that this will also show up more with thrifting becoming popular again amongst influencers but specifically thrifting for designer/up cycling designer (badly). They’ll sell it under a veil of sustainability, it’ll be infuriatingly shallow.

My Trend Timeline

End of winter into spring- indie sleazing our way into the new year, I think it’s a versatile enough fashion that can be easily executed with what people already have from previous trends in 2023. Everything is set up rolling out into the warmer months.

Summer- I think this is going to be prime time “trashy” early 2000s party girl kind of time. We got a little of it last summer but I think it’s going to really hit this year. Whale tails, chunky low lights, messy makeup, bedazzled jeans. I think we’ll also see some keywest kitten esque looks from the preppier side of things, lots of bright colors and fun jewelry. I think we’ll also get a lot of vintage Americana moments, once again we got a bit of it last year and I think it’ll be brought back.

Fall- peak twee season, especially nearing the holidays. I think we’re gonna see a lot of rich color this fall too, jewel tones, beautiful deep greens and reds, not a lot in clothing but I think definitely in makeup and accessories. Around this time I think the preppier leaning folks will get back into skinny jeans. I think vintage graphic Ts will also get popular around this time, something easy but still interesting. Men’s fashion doesn’t cycle through as quickly so I think the kind of 70s aesthetics I’ve seen a lot of dudes into will continue (but I think they’ll also get in on the indie sleaze, I think for mens fashion it will stick around for fall). I think we’ll see more textures, lace, fur, leather, etc.

Winter- this is right around when I think the forced “casually classy” down to earth bs will start. Twee will continue amongst a smaller group and we’ll see a lot of cute diy gifts and stuff for the holidays, this will also impact the up cycling I think we’ll see from influencers and celebrities. I think hyper-feminine aesthetics will really kick back up, Pom poms, whites and pinks, skirts and big sweaters, Ralph Lauren teddy bears everywhere. It’ll be contrasted by a new interest in grungy/intense makeup looks, thin brows and dark lips, messy eyes, glitter.

I’m very excited for these all to turn out totally wrong and for me to make a fool of myself! But who gives a shit, I’m just saying this all for fun. Happy new year everyone!
